| I made a new site since this one has been acting weird. h_ope | | |
| So today was my birthday.
I got up around noon ( ) and Sue gave me a giftcard to old navy from her and Dad. Later on Sue took Charlie Jack and Mercy to get me some presents while I babysat the dogs. Mercy got me a really pretty pair of wooden bead earrings, a magnetic bracelet, and a pretty picture. Charlie gave me a pack of cool popcorn seasoning, and a pretty heart-shaped keychain that says "Hope" on it. Jack gave me a fake rock that says "Hope" on it. Grace G gave me betty boop socks, a pair of earrings, and a little bowl with haind-painted sheep on it and a stand for it. Emma gave me a cute stuffed duck that sings 'if you're happy and you know it.'
We ordered pizza, went on the computer, Grace G and I recorded music, we talked about the genocide in Sudan, Emma and Mercy made me a blueberry muffin cake with strawberry glaze, Grace G and I asked our parents about their colleges (price, difficulty, campus) and then Grace G and I went on the computer and looked up CLEP courses when I found out I could take one RIGHT NOW if I wanted to. So we looked into a few courses and decided on psychology since it's short, easy, and her mother is a counselor so she can quiz us.
I'm going to go put on the Betty Boop socks Grace G gave me, and make popcorn with the seasoning Charlie gave me. | | |
| Friday mom and I went to Plato's Closet and to a christian bookstore where I got this cool magazine bible.
Tuesday I retook the math portion of the CAT test and I'm ahead 2 grades in math computation, and in my first year of college in concepts and application.
Wednesday mom and I went to Geneva to see Katie while she was up there for Synod. Katie and I went to get pizza and then bought some coloring books, crayons, supplies to make pearl necklaces, and bouncy balls. We went back to the dorm she was staying in and colored then bounced the balls and then ate the sugar free low carb brownies I made. Then we went to the college giftshop and looked around, and then we went down the street to this really cute little coffee shop where Katie and I played tick-tack-toe and this other game. Thursday mom and I picked up Katie at the college and then we went to see Pirates of the Carribean 3. It was good, but long, and we were running late so we had to rush out of the theatre. But apparently there was another scene after the credits that was kind of important to the storyline. 
After that we stopped by target so I could get Grace B's birthday present, and then we dropped Katie off, and then came home. I finished packing and stuff and then mom took me to meet Jeremy downtown. Jeremy and I went grocery shopping and then came home. | | |
| I don't remember everything that's happened.
Um, I had my portfolio review on the 13th of June. The same day Grace B, Mercy and I went to Grace G's sleepover for her 15th birthday at the church. It was fine, but like always, there was some drama. Which, unfortunately, I didn't sleep through. So Sue picked us up around 10:30 and I came home and did some work and then slept until like 7pm or something. The next day Sue and Dad picked up Grace G and brought her back to our house. We ate a little bit and then we left for the Leadership Retreat for the Vestry people at our church (my dad) so that was fun I guess. We played foosball (spelling?) and sat on the deck and ate sugar free stuff. Grace G and I went biking the next day but not for long because we found out all the trails are for mountain biking. And then we came home. Sunday we didn't go to church because our tire had popped the night before.
And today Jack, Charlie, Mercy, Grace B, Grace G, Emma and I went to the museum of Natural History and the Museum of Art. It was pretty fun, and we saw a hilarious emo kid that looked like his mom just died or something. So anywayyy, we watched these really (unintentionally) funny video that was supposed to be art, but was basically a guy wearing a blonde wig and a scarf singing Olivia Newton-John dramatically, and then pretending to die, making the one man who was seceretly watching him perform start a slow clap. SO FUNNY.
Anyway, then we went to eat 'n' park and then we dropped Emma and Grace G off at their house, and picked up their dog so we could babysit her for a week while they're out of town. So now we have our two dogs, Purdy (The Geisler's dog) and another dog we're babysitting; Willow (Jeremy's friend's dog) Saturday afternoon mom's picking me up on her way back and we're going to Plato's Closet. And sometime next week I'm retaking the math portion of the CAT test since I accidentally took the wrong one last time.

| I haven't posted in a while... Trinity's play was good, and it was good to see Katie.
Let's see...My mom, Sue, Mercy and Grace G, all had birthdays, and were all celebrated.
Chris, Courtney, Grace B and I went up to mom's for the weekend of her birthday, played Clue for alot of it, and we saw Spiderman 3.
Sue's and Mercy's were laid-back, sunny days off,
and Grace G's was spent at the movie theatre with Mercy and I, watching Disturbia.
I have no idea why we wanted to/did see it, but...we did. It was actually pretty good, but I wouldn't recommend it to those who don't thoroughly enjoy decaying bodies. Saturday afternoon Sue, Dad, Charlie, Jack and I drove up to Grandma Barb's house where Mercy and Emma had been for Mercy's sleepover. We ate, and I colored a picture of Barney. Emma, Mercy and I went outside, in the rain, barefoot, and crawled in the grass for a while. Then we walked through piles of leaves in the woods "spying" on Charlie, Jack and Dakota, by hiding behind trees. And when they saw us we pretended to be zombies until Jack came up to us and decided it would be fun to kick and punch everyone.
Then Emma and I sat under a tree while it rained and discussed a bunch of randomness. I've been sick for about a week now, which has been hard because this is the week that we scramble to get everything ready for the portfolio review this Tuesday.
On Monday afternoon I went to see Grace G's voice recital. It was nice, and very pretty. Afterwards we went to her house where we jumped on the trampoline and ate soda-flavored popsicles. After that, Grace G, Emma, Father Jay and I went to my house where we cooked chicken, hot dogs, and burgers. Grace G, Grace B and I sang a hard rock version of the Wonder Pets theme song, ate alot of fudgesicles, played some wii (where Grace G smacked the wiimote into the bedpost, while making cat noises) and then talked to Mrs. Matta when her and her husband stopped by. Sorry for the long (but much needed) post, I really hope you didn't read all of it...or atleast with interest, anyway. | | |
