| It's time for my once-in-a-blue-moon update! Tomorrow is my last final for the semester, and I absolutely cannot wait until noon tomorrow. But since I still have alot to learn within the next 24 hours, I'm going to cut this entry short and go study! (Yes I know why bother updating if I'm not going to say anything right?) I hope everyone has a great holiday! |

| A Great Big FallSo I am shopping at the First Colony Mall, and since I am in a hurry, I speed walk. All of a sudden, I slip on a piece of banana (no joke, a scene from the cartoons except it's no slow motion), and I slightly twist my right angle, lose all balance and start heading south. I throw my arms out in attempt to maintain balance while tyring to continue walking, so that perhaps I can avoid what I knew was going to happen. But of course, I land straight on my ass with both of my legs facing outward and feet toward the back - ouch. While all of this was happening, a couple of young children were running towards my direction but they stop dead in their tracks and just started staring. Embarassed, I get up awkwardly, and the children's mom asked if I was ok because I am wincing in pain (and, no, I wasn't even trying to pretend I was hurt in order to avoid laughter, it hurt like hell). I told her I was ok as the pain subsided from my butt (thank god I've some cushion), but I realized I was still in alot of pain. I look down and I noticed a HUGE welt on my right knee, and then I wonder, how is it possible that I land flat on my ass, but I get a bruise big enough to cover my entire knee? I'll never know because I've already repressed that memory. |
