| | The CBC Archives website opens its Bethune page with the ambiguous title "Comrade Bethune - A Controversial Hero" and goes on to acknowledge his stature in China while noting his relatively unknown status at home in Canada. The site has 14 audio and video segments that present a portrait of Bethune. Each segment also has a brief overview of the 'story' being portrayed, a 'did you know' history update and 'credits' documenting the CBC and guest personnel involved. Some of the titles of these segments are ambiguous in an oddly Canadian sort of apology for Bethune's communist beliefs.
