    Hello, hello!

Hello all! Well, I finally broke down and decided to use the library's computers. It is nice to have internet access more than once a month! Only problem is there's a 30-minute time limit. And right now I'm on my last five.... Oops.

Well, just thought I'd write a quick note. Not really much to say. I have joined the teeming throng of Michigan's Unemployed (unwillingly, I might add) and now have to figure out UIA. They do make it difficult to file a claim. You can only call on certain days and then you have to have all sorts of information. Other than that nothing is going on... Well, perhaps I should say "because of that" nothing is going on...   The job search has commenced, but the area I'm in currently is not the best to find a job... so I might have to branch out.

Gotta run! Hope you all are doing well!

    Indelible Grace

Was just introduced to indeliblegrace.com by my dear friend, Sarah. Incredible. Please check it out if you get a chance. If you were/are discouraged by the lack of doctrine, truth and/or theology in contemporary christian music, take a look at the website and the songs they have.

For those of you that are fans od Derek Webb or Sandra McCracken: They are both involved in Indelible Grace.

Anyways, just a quick random note to share my new favorite findings with you all.

Mr. Jones, Meet the Master- Sermons and Prayers of Peter Marshall

    It's been a while...

    Quick post.

I'm still alive! I don't know if anyone really reads this much anymore, but I will continue to write when I can. In Lansing for the night. The first time the entire family has been under one roof in probably... three years? Or more? Kinda mind-boggling. We all move around so much and are never here at the same time.

Nothing really happening. Life continues to move on and drag me with it. Looking into going back to school part-time starting in January. Would love to go back full-time, but unless hell freezes over and I get a scholarship there's not going to be much of a chance.

Reading Recomendation: "Mr Jones, Meet the Master" by Peter Marshall. Book of prayers and sermons for Rev. Peter Marshall of the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in DC (around the 30s or 40s?). They are written with unbelievable strength and conviction. This may seem an overstatement to some, but I would put him down as some of the most touching, eloquent Christian literature I've read. (Which is saying something about the state of christian lit, or perhaps the state of what I've read...) Anyway, pick it up.

    Tagging...

I have been tagged, here it goes:

    The Rules:
    1. I have to post these rules before I give you the facts.
    2. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
    3. People who are tagged need to write their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules. (**if you're a non-blogger, you can email them!)
    4. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
    5. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

1.)  When I walk on a tiled floor, I count the squares and have to walk in a pattern.

2.) I have always wanted to learn to play the bass (double and/or guitar).

3.) I learned how to transcribe words phonetically with IPA.

4.) I get annoyed when people only tip 15% --and I'm not even a waitress.

5.) I'd never been to the Cheescake Factory until today.

6.) I like my pizza with sliced tomatos, olives, and fresh mozzarella instead of tomato sauce.

7.)  I would rather wear 3" heels than tennis shoes.

    8.) I like Crate & Barrel.

Okay, so that was really not very exciting. Sorry.

I tag: Allison, Sarah, Nat, Heather, Lindsay, Ellie and McKenna, and Gina A.
