At the Austin Airport on Friday, I was getting my plane ticket. There was this group in front of me with rocker type hair. All I thought was, "All right wannabee rockers, hurry the fuck up." One of the dudes was pasting a sticker that said "The Killers" on his guitarbox.

 

So as I get into another line to check my baggage in, the group is in front of me. There were like 6 instrument boxes. So a conversation ensues between the rocker dude and I:

 

Me: Y'all in a band?

Rocker Dude: Yeah, the Killers.

Me: What type of music is it?

RD: Rock and roll.

Me: Right on.

 

Yes that is the damn conversation. Little did I know then that they have a hit song! It's called "Somebody Told Me." It should be playing in the background. Ok, j/k. I can't do it. The link is here.

 

The moral of the story is...  ALWAYS GET THE ROCKER PEOPLE'S AUTOGRAPH! NO JOKE.
