Not cool

Reading about the earthquake is quite a saddening experience. Each new update presents a higher death toll. It started off at around nine hundred, then two thousand, then five, and now twelve, and will likely increase significantly over the next few days as well. I understand that it is the result of different areas reporting in, but the constantly rising number is still troubling. My only relief is that the Chinese government has mobilized its troops to aid the rescue effort.
