Ever hear the expression "When it rains, it pours"? Well, that's true in both the good times and the bad. Prosperity comes in waves. My dad came home last night with a bunch of extra pc parts, in which he gave to me. Included was the following:

ATI Rage 128 (all in wonder)
40 GB harddrive (ATA-133, 2 mb cache)
3 zip drives, parallel port
3 cd drives
a bunch of old ram (pre-SDRAM... we're talking SIMMS here)

and a bunch of other various things.

At any rate...

THIS DAY WON'T END

Not only that, but i've still got about 2 more hours until school starts (I just got to the campus @ around 3:00 and took a small but much needed nap in the career services department).  Today, I have a final in the Intro to PC's course.  That's an easy A right there.  Wish me luck anyhow.

okay, plans for the volvo:

• Preformance boosts:
Bosch 4-core Platinum plugs and platinum wires
          Larger exhaust pipe (quieter muffler)
          Cold air intake
          Super Coil
• Exterior Eye Candy:
Replace standard volvo grille with Wire Mesh Grille and add a chrome border on grille.
Replace Side view mirrors (white back, deep blue LEDs for turn signals in mirror)
Clean headlight lenses and replace bulbs with diamond cut bulbs
          Touch-up paint on various areas
Replace Amber turn signal lenses with clear turn signal lenses
          Remove volvo emblems
shave door handles and make the doors spring/loaded and remote-activated
Euro-style turn signals on front fenders (clear)
18", 5 spoke wheels & low profile tires
          Progressively tinted windows
          Custom bumpers and skirts
Repaint exterior trim to match body color
          Add chrome trim to doors

to give you an idea of what it may look like, here's a car with similar mods

So, I found a 1982 Mazda Rx-7 for sale yesterday. It's white with black interior... 202,000 miles on it.

*Current things to be done with it are:
*New interior (headliner replaced, carpet in good condition, instrument panel fine)
*Replace mirror motors
*Tune-up (fuel induction job reccomended)
*Replace front driver's side fender (white preferrable)
*Tighten steering column (it's got a dead zone of about 5 degrees).
*New stereo system (this thing lacks one)

For $550, however.... I'd say this is definately something I could look into actually buying and fixing up. This is definately a project I will be going to the local auto junkyard for replacement parts for. Pic will be coming soon.

*blows dust off xanga site*  Sheesh, been a while.

I'm a workin' man now! woohoo....

okay, sierously... what happened? I only really have time for school, work and little else.  Oh well, keeps me from spending cash I'm making (not!).

Isn't it amazing how God just seems to take care of things when we finally relinquish control of it and stop worrying about it?  Yep.  almost no worries now.

and when I discover who put Silly string on my car will have a nice talking to with me. Hopefully reasoning with whoever is doing this childish act will stop, but probably not since they are childish enough to do this crap in the first place.
