i love google - i honestly don't know what we did before google was created!  we have now learned to use google video, and have been uploading ryan's videos - it takes a while but now i can share them with you!

All right people - it's been a while, seeing that on the last entry, we were still thinking of what to name this chunky kid!  Ryan just passed his 100th day, and his cheeks kill me every morning - I wake up at 6am and am all giggly whenever I stare at him. (thus my valid excuse for coming to work late everyday!!!) hehehe.  This is a random shot of him, but I'm at work and this is one of the few pix I had...or how about this one?

He looks like he's planning to TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!! MUHAHHAHAHA.

hehe.  He wouldn't drink from the bottle today and it's been a daily battle...

I will try to xanga more...

It's a BOY!!! (unless the ultrasound was tricking us...)  How about Ryan as a name?  any votes?  No, fredericka - it will not be frederique.  He's an active one and keeps kicking my bladder, especially if i'm hungry, which is every hour or so.  hehe.

Ok, so I know that it's been like 3 months since I've posted anything, but lots of things have been happening (and thus even more reason to post, right?) and I've not yet gotten myself used to the idea of posting...but I do really enjoy all of YOUR posts, and feel like I'm a spy that's looking into your world without you even knowing about it.

Let me tell you that first of all, gyros in LA suck.  We have yet to find a REAL gyro place, you know, where they have real meat on the rack and they cut it off when you order?  Once, we went to a gyro joint in Hollywood and we were really excited until we saw the meat - it looked like, I don't even know what it looked like - I should have taken a picture of it, cuz it sure wasn't gyro!  It was shiny and waxy like it had been there for 10 years and they just waxed it to look shiny and nice.  So we got the biggest pizza slice we've ever had in our lives - it was literally the size of one medium pizza but in one slice - we had to use 2 plates to hold it up and to eat it.  I'll take you there if any of you ever come to visit me - which, eh-hem, none of you have.  eh-hem ~

Anyhow, I really miss Dengeo's and Nick's Gyros - fresh cucumber sauce with greasy pita...yumm....when I come back, that's our first stop.  Most definitely.  Oh, and Burger Hut.  Can you tell that my appetite is like CRAZY with this baby eating up all my food?  Within 1 hour of a full meal, my stomach is going mad with hunger.  Argh ~ I've got a fat baby coming.

So...for those of you who don't know yet, we are pregnant!!!
After 2+ years of waiting and praying, it was really after we had
completely surrendered our plans and desires onto the altar that He so
graciously gave us a gift that we did not deserve...He is good!

We went for our first ultrasound today and we finally saw the little
peanut!  Although we sorta have a preference for a boy (we
shouldn't even say that though, right?), we will call it "peanut" for
now.  It was kicking around its little legs and you can actually
see the face if you look closely (on the right side).  How can
anyone say this was evolution and not creation?  I don't know...
