this holiday was my longest one ever. eleven days away from auckland and i finally left my footprint in the south island. Silly me also left my camera battery in one of my destination. Luckily the lady is nice enough to mail it back to me with a cost.  . hope it comes back to me safely.
Planning a trip is so stressful especially when it goes terribly wrong. the weather, lack of time and the unfortunate flow of events. But the snow made it all okay. in the end, my trip was all worth it.
stress, wind rain shine, white white snow, hot springs in freaking cold weather, beautiful scenery, snowy mountains, glimpse of a seal, companionship, camwhoring, spooky and homey backpackers, nudity and crazy stunts.
thats a summary of my journey from auckland with plane to the south of north island, across the ocean to the south island with the ferry, a train ride towards kaikoura, roadtrips to other places, a different town every night, travelling time of nearly 24 hours, and a plane back to a place now called home.
this trip i have taken all means of transportation. plane, ferry, train, car, bus. Made so many detours and so many JUST MISSED you can imagine.
