I'm a 2nd year high school English teacher in the Midwest, who loves shopping, reading, traveling, and spending time with my wonderful boyfriend and friends. I'm also pursuing my Master's in English writing, so between my job, school, and my social life, I keep myself pretty busy! -

Teaching is my calling, not just my profession. I teach sophomore/junior English in a Lutheran jr/sr high school. I try to be as creative as I can to reach as many students as I can. I also like to read, write, garden, fish, travel, and play with my golden retriever. -

Live to serve others and your rewards shall not be earthly, but eternal. Married on June 24, 2006, to Kenn... both of us teach at the high school where we met... I teach math and he teaches social studies. Stop by for the details of our married life. We have a daughter, Morgan, born 4/4/08. -

I am a music educator. I love teaching middle school music. This is my first year teaching at a large school district. I live in a beautiful place doing the work that I love. In my spare time I love to read and cook. I'm probably one of the few young women that knows both how to crochet and make delicious homemade jam. Stick around and read for a while. I love to write about the challenges of being a teacher, especially in a public school when funds are tight. And feel free to tell me what you think!
