We teach because we have been called to teach. Rain, snow, hail, sleet, or shine, we will get up in the morning and remember that we are making a difference. We believe our responsibility runs far beyond the temporal needs of students... We are Christian teachers, set apart from the rest because we choose to reflect Christ. This is the basis of true education. This is the basis of redemption.

I have been happily married for three years. After ttc for two years God blessed us with our little miracle baby through IVF in December 2008. It was a long hard journey, but so worth the wait. I am a fourth grade teacher , wishing I could stay at home with my baby boy. My favorite things are spending time with my little monkey and my hubby, watching scary movies with my best friend, shopping at Goodwill or garage sales, rearranging or organizing my house, cooking, gardening, and curling up with a good book. We are also blessed to belong to a fantastic church. -

In 2002 a major piece in the puzzle fell into place, and I began to really appreciate the sovereignty of God - instead of avoiding the whole idea. I rejoice in my Savior and in all the riches of His grace. Unmerited, unlooked-for, unexpected...Hallelujah! -

I'm a high school math teacher. I love my job. This is where I vent, so I can maintain some sort of sanity. I'm keeping a journal of my first year of teaching to look back on later. -
