Stay-at-home, gentle, AP, unschooling, Orthodox Christian mama to the most marvelous 9yo boy, who happens to have Tourette syndrome and OCD. My husband is a music producer, musician, and songwriter. Our recording studio has been our livelihood for 16 years. Four years ago, my husband was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. After enduring various infections and losing his hearing for a year, his doctor recommended we leave the harsh climate of Alaska. The temporary hearing loss and relocation have been challenging to us financially, but God has provided through it all. Since our studio is in our home, the three of us spend almost all our time together. :-) Glory to God for all things. -

I am a mother, a teacher, and currently separated from my husband. Most of all, I am a woman of God undergoing a metamorphosis into the Queen God has called me to be...(1 Peter 2:9). Like the precious oil in the alabaster box, my life is being poured out for Him daily. To quote CeCe Winans, "I've come to pour my praise on Him like oil from Mary's Alabaster Box". In order to praise Him, I have paid a price, I have endured my share of sufferings...but it is nothing compared to the price He paid for me. It is an honor and privilege to praise Him in the midst of the challenges of my life. Welcome to my alabaster box. -

Hi! I am a 42 year old stay at home mom of two little girls, almost 6 and almost 3 years old. Aside from that, I mostly like to read and write in my "spare time". I am learning to crochet, too, and housework gets done in my spare time! We live in Knoxville, TN by way of Phoenix AZ I am married to Ryan, 30. We met and married in Phoenix though we are both from Indiana. I am interested in building a strong, interesting, and Godly marriage and family; raising empathetic, independent adults; and fulfilling whatever purpose God has for me! Our parenting philosophy is Attachment Parenting/Grace Based Discipline. -

I'm married with 3 children. Since this blog started I have transitioned from an extremely busy small business owner to a SAHM. That lasted a couple of years until I became restless. I want to get back out in the world. I am now in a 2-year RN program, due to graduate in November 2010. My dh and I along with our 3 children converted to Orthodox Christianity in January 2006. -
