I have bright red hair and deep green eyes. That makes me stand out! Sometimes I wish I could just blend in! I'm a college student (political science major) and a political junkie. Xanga is the place where I can practice my writing skills, expressing my inner feelings and my liberal political opinions.

These are really times of change...the problem is, people either assume that change will always be good or inherently negative -- when actually, it's mixture of both. I keep a fairly daily update on the current news, important issues, all of which more or less relate to liberty, privacy, and saving the world.

I WANT TO CHANGE MY WORLD!!!!!! I have a strong compassion for others. I have been appalled at the poverty that exists in our country, and the vast numbers of people that do not have the most basic of needs - food, shelter and adequate and affordable medical care. I want to do what I can to help others in need. We can all change the world, by affecting one person at a time!
