lunatic (adj.) absurd, deranged, disturbed, idiotic, mad, nonsensical, nuts, psychotic, unhinged, unsound - i have been in treatment for psychiatric disturbances for 7 years, hospitalized over 20 times, attempted suicide, had ECT, and been in a state hospital. i know i am crazy, but in spite of the evidence against me, i am not insane - as similar as those two words may sound, they are not. -
