My theme song is "Hats" by Amy Grant... I've been married to my honey for 24 years.. We have a married daughter (21) & 2 grandchildren. We also have 11 & 8yo daughters at home along with a special needs 6yo son. DH & I are tentmaking missionaries in Japan. I homeschool, teach conversational English classes, do all the mommy stuff and make all the PT/OT/ hospital runs with our son. And just so I'm not too bored... there are outreach events and kid's club. -

i'm all about walking outdoors in the midst of a leaf fall with no shoes on (or perhaps a really pretty pair to dress my jeans up), my favorite pair of jeans on that fit just right, with maybe a braid or two in my hair.... my daughter makes my life worth living. my books keep my dreams alive & well nurtured. my poetry keeps my emotions in check. my friends... well, you're the glue that helps me hang on when it seems too hard to try on my own. i'm just a country girl at heart & miss living near the good ole country folk. -

Stay-at-home, gentle, AP, unschooling, Orthodox Christian mama to the most marvelous 9yo boy, who happens to have Tourette syndrome and OCD. My husband is a music producer, musician, and songwriter. Our recording studio has been our livelihood for 16 years. Four years ago, my husband was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. After enduring various infections and losing his hearing for a year, his doctor recommended we leave the harsh climate of Alaska. The temporary hearing loss and relocation have been challenging to us financially, but God has provided through it all. Since our studio is in our home, the three of us spend almost all our time together. :-) Glory to God for all things. -

My name is Lori; I am a person of many talents. I am the easiest person to talk to unless I get annoyed, in which I will half-scream at you and I unintentionally remember every word you say. I can keep a secret, other's and my own. I sing along to the radio, no matter who I'm around. I drown myself in my kids; it is my life, my duty since I am a boo-boo kissing, night night hug giver, mom referee, full time maid/pt employee to 4 boys- Ren 17, Taran 15, Loranzo 6 (Developmental Articulation Disorder/PDD/Central Auditory Processing Disorder/SMA) and Carrick 4. My life is chaotic all the time. But its my life. -
