A community of poets who ascribe to the "New Critical" approach to poetry. The general belief of “New Criticism” is that poetry is a unique and inimitable form of expression. Each poem is a work of art, whole in itself. The New Critics interpreted poetry with close readings of the text and considerations of the relationship between a poem’s images, connotations and ambiguities. I am specifically calling for those Xangans willing to engage in line by line or stanza by stanza interpretation.
