A Blogring for the Over Fifty Crowd
Ok. folks.. I am new to Xanga and have been looking for someone in my age group to swap blogging with.. All I find is angry kids wanting to bash someone online. Well, not all but a large amount. Were we that angry as teens?? Would love to find people in their 50's up that has interesting day to day postings about their activities and interests.

I am retired, married, mother of two and grandmother of 3. I am full time caregiver to my husband who is a disabled Nam Vet. We spend a lot of time at the ocean and driving through the woods of the Pacific Northwest. I am active in 12 step programs, AA, NA, and OA. I am an avid digital photographer and find the beauty of the world through my camera lens. I identify with the elements of fog and water and love to walk along the river on foggy nights and mornings. -

I am a survivor of domestic violence. I spent most of my adult life in a "religious" commune/"cult" and lived to tell about it. I am a native of Washington State, born in the Palouse Country of Eastern Washington. I migrated to the Pacific Northwest during the 70's and have been here ever since. I am happily married now, and I have six children and four grandchildren as of this writing. -
