"Almost Heaven" Inspirational Stories & Poems
The name really says it pretty well. There's going to be inspirational stories, poems, quotes, biblical passages & a host of other thought provoking posts with Christianity as the focus and/or goal. The "Almost Heaven" part is due to the fact that I reside in the great State of West Virginia and it doesn't get much closer. 8-)

Love music (play flute and learning cello). Love to read, love to write - esp. the handwritten letter. I have two children who are just about out of the nest, and have returned to the work world after 10 years to pay for college. Was born again at age 39, and attempt to make serving Jesus Christ and becoming like Him a part of my everyday life. I don't always do too well. I love studying God's word - it's a particular passion of mine. I just wish I knew Greek and/or Hebrew.... -

I'm a small town gal who likes the simple things in life. I like to take the time to enjoy the things that God has placed in our lives. I love God!! He's the greatest!!! I love sports, mainly track. Basketball is my second passion in life. Anything that involves running, I am so there. I attend Angelo State University where I am majoring in kinese. My goal in life is to become a track coach.(go figure) I am a first year freshman and enjoying every minute of it. My family is awesome. I have two parents who love each other dearly, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. Yeah...big family...I know it. My family is built strong to last. It's like a rock!!!(Just like my truck) hehe! My life really revolves around my devotion to my three greatest contributions to Western civilization; Luxie 5/8/03, Gwendalyn 1/29/06, and Killian1/23/08. I spend my days homeschooling, chauffeuring, and otherwise wrangling my genetic legacy. I am a francophile, as well as a retrophile. I feel that the use of plastics should be restricted to medical apparatuses only. I believe in reusing and reducing, but not recycling. I believe that we should live as naturally as we can --I say as I sit in my climate controlled home office in front of my computer screen--. I am way too inside of my own head. At any given time there is a two way conversation with God, the story lines to 5 different novels I will never write, and the quandaries of far greater thinkers than myself ricocheting around in there. Well lets see.... I've been home skooled my whole life. I love talking about what people believe. I read tons of books. use to draw but now I paint. Every where I go I bring a camera, I would love to take some classes in photography (If you wanna be my friend get use to me taking pictures of you). I snort when I laugh. I love HxC dancing, and Moshing. I like anime. I work as a face painter, also in a nursery, I love kids. I dont know what I want to be in life more than a Mommy. I dont care about alot of things. Im honest and people mistake that for rudeness. I hate to be alone. I I love DDR (Dance dance revolution), even though I suck at it. As you can see I'm a loser all the way, but theres still a little part of me that thinks I'm kewl. My fav color is Yellow. My parents r divorced, they've been for 4 years now. I believe I have the kewlest Mom ever. My Dad works out of town most of the time, so I don't get to see him as much as I would like. I have two older brothers, (19, and 24).
