I am a conservative Christian, book-loving stay-at-home mom and adult MK from central Africa. I have been married for 28 years and home schooling for 19. I have 7 beautiful blond children ranging in age from 7-23. I live in East Texas and love it for 8 months of the year. (June, July, August & September I'm not too crazy about!) My oldest daughter has graduated from university, added some teacher training, and will soon be on her way to teach at Sakeji Mission School in Zambia. The next two are in university (living at home) and the other 4 are still schooling at home with me. -

I write when I want and when I can about what I want, what I think, and what I choose. Do not look for consistency of posting or uploading, do not be offended if I do not comment back. Thank you for visiting and have a nice day. I do not use Footprints, I do not block people from seeing my site, I browse anonymously. I turned footprints off. you should too. -

"How are you?" "Alive." "Oh, well that at least is good." Yep, it is. Not to say that this life is anywhere near as good as the other will be but it is still a good life, because it is ruled by a good Being. And I won't give any other reasons as to why this life could be called good. -

I live in the Middle East. I love God, my husband and 3 children. I have many interests...some of them are....travelling, sports, the outdoors, good coffee, learning to play the guitar, cooking...especially ethnic and vegetarian things, most types of art...but especially pottery and watercolors. I grew up in Kentucky, Kenya and Zaire (the Democratic Republic of Congo) and love learning and experiencing new cultures and parts of the world. -
