For the new year I decided to celebrate the Year of Pam (YoP). There has been much hoopla over the exclusion of certain groups! So in the spirit of sisterly (and if necessary brotherly) solidarity I welcome you all the The Sisterhood of Pam!! The purpose of the YoP is to treat ourselves well. To do things that are only for us. Be it a manicure, a movie night, going to play bingo, closing the door and reading a book...whatever it is..it should be for you! Who's with me???

I'm a US Navy Wife Retired, & Mother of a 14yr. Old Girl Child...... TEXAN by Birth, Floridian by transplant... I like music, reading, movies, muscle cars with ghost flames, (have a 89 CJ7, 82 Corvette, 32 Nash,(sold the Nash...:-P) & currently drive a PT Cruiser) sparkly things, (diamonds are a girls best friend, besides, it's my Birthstone) I have a fascination with things that light up, blink, flash, or glow in the dark!!! : ) I am an artist, but it's a God Given Talent, that I have neglected to develope to it's fullest potential...... -

This is my second Xanga site, I shut down the last one because my kids were not so keen on having their Mom express her thoughts for the "whole world to see".... Funny how THEY have no trouble doing that....so I am now INCOGNITO....don't tell them I'm here! -

Hello My name is Connie. I have been married for over twenty years, and I have two wonderful boy's. I was diagnosed with B-Cell Lymphoma. The Doctor's said that I had less then 24% chance to live (that is with chemo). After surgery, chemo and radiation, the Doctor's told me I was cancer free (in Feb 06). I give all the credit to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! -
