I do not want to face Christ to hear him say, “I never knew you.” I am crying out to the Lord, “I believe, help me overcome my unbelief!” I can’t give myself faith, but I can put myself in spiritual sackcloth and ashes. Am I robbing myself of joy? I’m not sure. Even though my search for truth has increased the turmoil in my mind, I feel an increased peace in my heart. I have come to doubt more, but my worship has been more genuine. I know this seems strange, but I have committed myself into God’s hands. I am no longer relying on my faith to save me, I am trusting God to save me in spite of my lack of faith. -

I was raised Catholic, I became an Atheist, I became a Christian, I became an Agnostic. I believe that whether or not God exists is an important question. I believe that no one should feel threatened by this discussion. If there is a God, it won't allow anyone seeking the truth in humility to be lead astray. -
