I am a 21-year-old, carbon-based biped and college student. I tell people my favorite color is red even though it is really blue, and do this because when I was six my favorite color was red and I just got into the habit of saying "red" in response to that question. My favorite color isn't really blue, even--it's black, but I get the feeling that saying so would somehow transform me into a walking cliché. I can also shoot laser beams from my eyes. These beams are capable of dissolving human flesh. -

This is Kevin's blog. I recently graduated with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Spring Hill College. I am currently persuing a doctorate at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I'm one of those "evil fence-sitters" politically and generally a very easy going person. I am known by both MovingTarget and Kevinsparakeet on the web. I hope you enjoy reading. -

I'm a 26 year-old disability rights and long-term care reform advocate, writer, Wikipedia contributor, gamer, Torah-studying Jew, and just a guy residing in Mobile, Alabama (the port city and former capital of French Louisiana). I made a major impact with my two-year campaign to change Medicaid in Alabama, dubbed "Nick's Crusade." Since spring 2005 I've been on somewhat of an involuntary break from college. I'm now officially in the all-important "WTF am I going to do" transitional phase of my life. I am looking to attain the place and relationships I need for success and happiness, finish my degree and get a job. Where will I end up? Who will I meet? What will I learn and what new conclusions will I draw? Stay tuned to my blog to find out. :) -

My name is Nicole, I'm an insomniac Democrat Delta Gamma (yes there are such things), but that's about the only defining characteristic I can come up with, other than "debatably humorous," which I haven't applied to myself since the seventh grade. What did 2004 do for me? Um...well, I lost faith in humanity a few times, moved into the Fairway Apartments, lost faith in humanity a few more times, fell in l*ve, (OK, yes, the big all caps LOVE...and don't you all just suck) and turned twenty one. But now I'm happy, by and large... -

Hi, I'm Jamie. I'm in standard quarterlife-crisis mode for now, just trying to figure out what comes next. I live with my overstressed mom, my dark, brooding older brother Nick, my takes-no-crap Nana, two dogs (C.C. the schizophrenic poodle and Louie the Lhasa Apso who may or may not also be a member of the mafia), and a rotating cast of nurses. By the way, my brother and I have a freaky unknown form of muscular dystrophy. Layman's definition: our muscles suck. All involuntary stuff - digestion, heartbeat, brain stuff, **cough** "private" reflexes - works fine. The rest - movement, breathing - not so much. That means I'm in a wheelchair, on a ventilator, and can't really move much. But this blog, isn't about my disability, it's about my life! In other words, it'll probably be boring... I'm also an aspiring comedy writer, so if you ever see anything too serious here, there's probably something wrong. -
