In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing. - Theodore Roosevelt

I graduated from Lutheran High School South on June 4, 2004 and Missouri State University on December 18, 2008 with a major in Professional Writing with a minor in History. I love God and everthing He does for me and I continue to grow closer to him everyday. I especially love Him for blessing me with the love of my life. Megan and I were married on June 28, 2009 and are enjoying life together.

Howdy! Fraught with the perils of rampant ideologues, I might be the last sane person out there...or is that the least sane? You see what I did there? It looks easy but it's not. For more amazing insights & grammar tricknology, come in & visit the host with the posts with most!

The sun soon began to kiss the earth with it's soft rose lips as it's orange arms reached out to gently tap the world awake. Still it rose, and ultimately embraced the world with one big yellow hug... I'm a procrastinator, (which is probably why I see a lot of sunrises) a bit of a perfectionist, a reflective observer, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a May 2006 Murray State Alum, and this is where I talk about the stuff that's on my mind. I take joy in the small things in life, and try to find the humor in every day. The rest I'll leave for you to judge.

I have just finished my undergraduate degree at Georgia College & State University. This fall, I begin the Masters of Public Administration program, also at GCSU. Eventually, I plan to get a PhD and teach political science at the university level. I am active in local politics, school organizations, and my church. I am from a small town of less than 600 people and which boasts one traffic light. I am the grandson of ironworkers and share croppers. But, I have walked the halls of the Capitol, gripped the hand of the President of the United States, and considered members of Congress personal friends. I am not bragging on myself, but on my country. The United States is a place where anyone can achieve anything.
