It's about the beach, kids. Not the Californic concrete-encrusted strips of sand, or the overcrowded tourist traps of the temperate zones. It's about New England's rocky coastline, punishment in the winter and praise come spring. Nature's slap and kiss in the same year--a thing of beauty. And that, my dears, draws me in. -

Caution: You may be about to read the ramblings and musings of a split personality. I have a "soft heart" as some would call it, and I care about people deeply... and yet, I think that the human race as a general rule is completely incompetent and untrustworthy. Figure THAT one out. At any rate, what's a quasi-cynic like me supposed to do?? Probably just stab myself in the face and move on. -
