My wife and I are hot for Barack Obama, so my blogs have lately been monotonous and boring, unless you're into politics. But ... I have the equivalent of four full-time jobs, not counting Scrabble, at which I'm world-class but at least temporarily retired. My four jobs are: safety/security officer at a major hospital, and (the next three are nonpaying) keeping up with my younger wife Barbara, schmoozing with my Xanga subscribers, and making sure that Obama gets elected. I miss playing golf but my back and my wallet complain, so I don't play anymore. I miss being world-class at bridge and Scrabble but there's no time right now. I love most kinds of music -- esp. classical -- but I'm not too hep on the current popular scene. My tastes go back to the forties and fifties. I'm old. Somewhere between atheist and agnostic, but I do go to church regularly (Unitarian Universalist). I don't watch much TV anymore since I married Barbara. She hates the tube.
