I am a retired Military man and have been married for 41 years to my lovely wife Brenda.I have been an ordained minister since 1998.I have an accociates degree in Christian studies,and a Bachelors degree in Church Ministery.I also have a diploma of Biblical Studies from liberty University.I am also a graduate of the Institute of Jewish-Christian Studies. I'm sarcastic, but in reality I care about people so much that it hurts sometimes. To cover this up, however, I use the aforementioned tactic. There are a few things in this world I really cannot stand. Loud noises, horrible music, "thinspo," and people who think one aspect (such as weight) is the only thing that defines them. I love Jesus because He loved me first. I love U2 because their music has kept me alive. I love Bono because he kissed me (no sarcasm there), and I love Hugh Laurie because he's British and hilarious...and wickedly attractive. I also love a good book, and a steaming hot cup of tea...and I hate horrible wholesome sunshine. :P I accept that people will think they know me based on taking one look at my page, but I refuse to hide behind friends lock.

I married my husband, Jim, on January 4, 1985. I have six wonderful children whom I love dearly and am raising with my husband and the help of our Lord to be arrows for God's kingdom. My hobbies are scrapbooking, gardening, beading, and playing the piano. I also love to read books on history, saints of the past, the classics, and Christian living. I enjoy having music playing in our home and in the car at all times, my favorites being classical, bluegrass, hymns, and love songs in other languages. The dearest desire of my heart is to become more like my faithful Savior, Jesus Christ. The older I get, the more I realize how great a debt I owe to Him and I adore Him for paying that debt for me with His own precious blood. I love the hymn that ends, "Father of Jesus, Love Divine, what rapture it will be, prostrate before Thy throne to lie, and gaze and gaze on Thee!"
