Hi. I'm Jimmy. I am a 23 year old follower of Christ, from a small town in Ohio. I've been practicing nonviolence for a little over a year and a half, and I am a committed and dedicated Christian. I attend a United Methodist church and am very fond of the teachings and practices of John Wesley. I've had three years of ministry schooling at Taylor University Fort Wayne in Fort Wayne, IN. As of now, I am unemployed, but I am a full-time servant for my home church. Eventually, I plan on becoming an internationally known Christian/youth speaker/author. Scribe. Warrior. Nerd. All of the above. Scribe - I am a writer. Story is my life. I graduated from TUFW with degree in professional writing so I could spend my life telling stories with my pen, my mouth, and my life. I believe in the power of story and that each of our lives are an epic that God is helping us write. Like C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien before me, I believe God speaks to humans through story. I hope my own stories can do the same. Warrior - Life is a battle, and I intend to keep fighting the good fight, as the Apostle Paul said. I will fight for my God, my friends and family, and my beliefs. I can be a loyal friend or a worst enemy. Thankfully, it takes a lot to get on my bad side. Nerd - I enjoy all things science fiction, fantasy, video games, comic books, etc. My mind is always entertaining "what if's" and other strange ideas. I've always known I wasn't normal (but then again, "normal" is a relative term). -

I am 26 - did you know that "young adult" is considered 18-25? I don't believe it...therefore, I am still a young adult. You can send me presents on the Ides of March. I am a small farm town girl (2000 people) who up and moved to the "big city". I married my best friend on September 18, 2004 and moved to Chicagoland. My husband works in the city at a big state university and I work in a western suburb in a Real Estate office. Don't ask me to sell your house or help you buy. I do process paperwork for 90 agents - so I can probably give some advice :-) I absolutely love my church and adore working with the 12-17 month class - they are angels. I love babies and will be thrilled to have my own someday (some...day) I enjoy simple pleasures, cooking, baking, home decor, photography. Fall is my favorite season, Chicago is my favorite city and you could be my favorite new friend... -
