In this day and age of the so called "liberated woman" in which women feel they must be set free from some imaginary "trap" I feel as though I am truly liberated! Being a wife and mother is the highest calling a woman can fulfill. How freeing that calling truly is. I am a homeschool mom and stay at home wife. I love the close fellowship with my children and husband and quiet solace that homeschooling and homemaking brings to my heart. Being a stay at home wife is a much forgotten art today. What a blessing it is to be able to make our home a haven where the Peace of God abounds. Ahhhh.....sitting down with a good cup of coffee listening to wonderful music with kindred spirits like my daughters and my dear husband.....now that's life! Everyday is a gift, a journal page if you will. What will you compose? -

My theme song is "Hats" by Amy Grant... I've been married to my honey for 24 years.. We have a married daughter (21) & 2 grandchildren. We also have 11 & 8yo daughters at home along with a special needs 6yo son. DH & I are tentmaking missionaries in Japan. I homeschool, teach conversational English classes, do all the mommy stuff and make all the PT/OT/ hospital runs with our son. And just so I'm not too bored... there are outreach events and kid's club. -

I am so blessed and happily married to a wonderful man. We have 3 grown and married children, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. And we love each one dearly. My prayer each day is that I will honor the Lord Jesus Christ in all I do and say. I like to sew, do art work, read and I love tea and to decorate. And I like to learn new things on the computer.I also enjoy designing Themes here on xanga. I like being at home and being a homemaker. -

A disorganized homemaker in word, thought and deed. This blog is one way to sort it all out! Living in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia my husband of 25 years and I have been blessed with four incredible kids, added to our family by the equally miraculous means of birth and adoption. God has been very generous with us in many ways, but mostly by the costly death of Christ on the cross which bought our redemption. We thank God for the power of the resurrection that gives us the great hope for an eternity with Him. -

Ge 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am your shield, and your exceeding great reward. I want this, the WORD of the LORD came~ My husband is David and we share 11 children between us. I am presently helping with a womans Bible Study that meets in a laundry room of an apartment complex. I go to a Calvary Chapel Church. I live on a farm and help with a family meat processing business. We have cows and grow our own food as much as we can. I enjoy sewing, canning, cooking, and hand stiching of all kinds. I am just learning to draw. -

I am a 30-something mom, going on my 15th anniversary in May with my dear, only-ever husband. We have 7 wonderful kids ranging in ages of newborn twins to 14; six girls, one boy! I'm a SAHM and try to find ways to make meals from scratch, save pennies all the time, and find learning chances wherever and whenever I can to fulfill our education in (homeschoolers!). And I've saved the best for last, I'm a believer and lover of Jesus Christ, thus I am a Christian, although the way of this world now sees that word as such an easy label to press on. I'm a true one. -

I am a precious daughter of the most high God. I am madly in love with my husband of 19 years. He is my knight in shining "amour," my beloved, my best friend. We have 3 beautiful, adorable, intelligent active children. DS#1 is 13, DD is 11 & DS#2 is 9. They keep me on my toes, so extremely challenged with my faith and busy researching how to better instruct them.
