The Poet: The Christian: The Human In Between
Not for the mere psalmist but for the child of life and the eternal: the artist whose words sing of despair and mourn for faith, whose self betrays the tension between death and life, God and humanity, word and spirit. Not for the perfect; no, for the sinners, the prostitutes, and the blasphemous. For the human. The self. That is all.

As we open ourselves, will you open your arms? If we bear our souls to you, will you look the other way? We strive to be the poets - the voices of a brand new age. Or of an age just long forgotten, where truth is pursued with dialogue. We simply cannot sing unto the deaf. We can't show ourselves unto the blind. If you cannot feel, there will be no embrace. If you refuse us we will remain the same. You can't close our minds, you can't lock our hearts. No one can take from us the love we have for you. This new breath, gives us new life. Stay here with me, look into my eyes. We've opened up our hearts - our lives we'll share. We're here now for each other. - IIB -

Said One to Another, "Young children should never be sent to bed. They always wake up a day older..." Said Another to One, "What makes you think we're only young once?" -

I love my Jesus!! He rocks my face off!! I love spending everyday of my life living to the fullest and doing what God has created me to do! God has made me an induvidual. He has taught me that following the crowd sucks and in popularity, though it may be fun at times, you will never be fully happy and satisfied. God has given me my own intrest and is still shaping me every day of my life to be the woman of God that He wants me to one day be. Oh, how I joyfully wait everyday until I get to see my Father face to face and be free from the burdens of this world. <embed src="http://apps.rockyou.com/rockyou.swf?instanceid=20313000" quality="high" wmode="transparent" bgcolor="#000000" width="325" height="244" name="rockmyspace" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="never" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /> -

I search for meaning, and think I find it in overanalyzing every little detail, fixing every flaw...until I realize that I'm focusing on one piece, without understanding how it fits into the larger picture. May I learn how to balance emotion and reason, dreams and practicality, the difference between stuffing and dealing, and what it means to continually wait on God. -
