Hello! My fiance passed away from osteosarcoma cancer in Aug. of 2003. I had started on Xanga as the user "Mee" and wrote about our everyday life and his fight with cancer, then changed to this site, I recently deleted all the old posts, and now this is a place to vent and help me heal. -

This Site Is A Dedication Site For Marci Bee Dayton... A grade 3 anaplastic astrocytoma brain tumor was found on June 17, 2004 and had erupted. After going through 3 surgerys that day at John's Hopkins in Baltimore, the emergency surgery removed the orange-sized tumor along with a large portion of her brain. She battled and struggled with her tumor for over 10 months. The tumor started to grow back and nothing could be to save her. Marci passed away on May 8th, Mother's Day 2005. -

Well, I guess that biggest thing in my life right now is I have cancer. I was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma in July of 2003. Just recently doctors found that I have a huge brain tumor, that was removed on May 5th. There are 2 other spots of cancer in my brain that can only be removed by Radiation. So that is my step in getting healthy. But, other then that I love to teach children with special needs. I teach Adapted Physical Education at West Chester University and I am a Physical Education Major as well. I do have hobbies such as swimming, softball, or any other sport for that matter. I love to be outdoors having fun, and love to read anything I can get my hands on. I have a 8 month nephew and he is a total joy to my life. He is so cute. I can't wait to see him grow up. He is just like one of my children. I hope that it always stays that way.
