Mennonite Mafia is a term we here in Normalville use to descibe "upstanding" citizens who have, shall we say, skeletons in their closets. Any Christian can join this ring of course. But Mennonites have sum issues that only other Mennonites understand, so enter at ur own risk.......

    so um, we got married on june 27, 2008; DINK (double-income-no-kids), shes a secretary, i'm a refrigeration and HVAC tech, we like to snowboard and spend time with family and play games and be with nieces and nephews and we love christmas time, i like sports, i root for philly teams, shes melancholy, i'm phlegmatic, shes an artist and scrapbooks, i like to read anything interesting and watch scary movies, she meets friends at 5.30 in the morning for coffee - i stay out till 2 or 3 shooting the bull with the guys, we go to a small mennonite church and sometimes teach sunday school and stuff.

    Blonde does not equal dumb. (Ditsy, in my case, but certainly not dumb.) Hippie does not equal pot smoker. (Some of us actually care about peace, the environment, social justice, etc.) Mennonite does not equal Amish. (However, we do believe in a non-official rumpspringa, which leads me to...) Irish DOES equal social drinker.
