i'm a Jesus wannabe. with a lot of flaws. and a lot of bumps on the road. i haven't arrived, but i know i'm on the way. there are many thoughts in my head, so i let xanga be the outlet. some entries i know i'll completely regret or disagree with in the future, but i'm just being honest right now, right where i am. i write for today.

I have been happily married since July 2004 to my minister husband. I graduated with my Masters of Science in Nursing (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) at Vanderbilt University in August 2006. After taking a 3-month "life break" where we had a family reunion in Hilton Head, took a 6 week trip through Europe and then spent a month with my family in Chicago, we relocated to Los Angeles where I took a job at UCLA Children's Hospital and my husband is attending Fuller Theological Seminary. We are currently loving life in our little apartment near the Hollywood Hills with our two high-maintenance rescue dachshunds.

Resting in the arms of my Love: "For the LORD your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty savior. He will rejoice over you with great gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will exult over you by singing a happy song." Zephaniah 3:17

Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD , and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. ~ Isaiah 55:6-7
