No emotion. No feeling. Instead just listen. I challenge you to open your eyes and see what I see. That's the first step to get to know me.

Welcome to my travel journal, a place where I can read about my journeys since I have terrible handwriting. So far I've written while I was in India, Washington D.C, NYC, England, Wales, Amsterdam, Germany, Austria, Venice, Swiss Alps, Paris, Bahamas, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Atlanta, West Virginia, the Smoky Mountains, San Jose, Scotland, Spain, Portugal, Dublin, Cyprus, and Bangladesh!

Christiana sum. I'm a classical archaeology grad student, which means I spend a good portion of my time at school complaining about having to learn ancient languages, and the rest of it plotting how to translate the Lord of the Rings into Latin. Someday, in the golden age called A.B.D., I will be able to research more about archaeology and less about Greek principle parts. Until then, I've promised myself to try very hard to have a life. This mostly manifests itself in cooking (because hey, we have to eat...), church, and more time on the internet than I can really afford. Which is what brings me here.

I'm a 27yr. old wife and the mother of a precious baby boy named CJ. He was born on July 15, 2006. My husband and I have been together for 11 years. We were married Dec of 2005. This blog is just a way for me to trace the life of my son and to share with the world all of the love that I have for him.
