  • Heart for God's, Heart for the nations [Missions]

Share God's heart for the nations? For those on the field, struggling to get out there onto the field and for those who are seeking. "After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands." Revelations 7:9

I desire to pursue & love with all my heart the One who first loved me! I love music ~ singing, playing violin & piano, and attending concerts, and teaching my own students. Always have at least one good book I'm reading, games, swimming, tubing, hiking, being around water (such as lakes, rivers and oceans!) or in the mountains (it's a dream to live near BOTH!), doing jigsaw puzzles, playing games, journaling, cooking, traveling, adventure, laughing with friends, talking about the Lord, being a friend, drawing out the treasures in other's hearts, working with children and young people, memorizing Scripture, doing anything outdoors! I love being with people, but I also need my quiet place too. :)

Just another Servant of the Lord who still lives life on the edge, only now I have enough sense to wear a safety harness! Hoping to touch the lives of others through my daily perspective of God's Holy Word. I invite you (young & old alike) to drop by and say hello by leaving a comment and signing my guestbook. If you sub me, please let me know so I can do the same for you. May God give you great joy in the journey ahead. I leave you with these words... "He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose." -Jim Elliot

Life is tough. Good thing I already have a helmet! : ) College senior getting ready to graduate and get my masters in Nursing...The goal at hand is to be in Africa serving as a missionary within the next 5-6 years. Originally from Michigan...currently living in Virginia and pining to live my life deliberately. I'm a Grammar snob, I frequently burst out in laughter, self-conscious, yet extremely self-assured, love for people, heart for the Lord, broken heart for the hurting...and a mind that's not content unless learning new things and searching out uncharted territory. My life is super fast paced, but I can appreciate the small stuff, too. Just read...and you'll see soon enough.

Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. I am not fully whole, not fully broken, walking in the certainty of the someday. Enjoying every second of this journey. I am finally understanding what it is to love God slowly in the moments we take for granted. Learning to love with every step. My name is Lauren. I'm 24. I just moved back to Texas from Argentina. I believe Jesus is the Son of God and he is the only reason I am alive. These are my stories. Thoughts through my fingertips.

As for me and my house we dwell in the the L-rd. If there is one word of advice that I would like to give to anyone it would be..... WE ALL HAVE SINNED AGAINST G-D AND DESERVE DEATH BUT G-D SENT THE MESSIAH TO DIE UPON THE CROSS SO THAT WE WOULD NOT ONLY DIE BUT WE WOULD BE SAVED. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HIM AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOR IT IS MY PRAYER THAT G-D TOUCHES YOUR LIFE AND THAT YOU DO GET TO KNOW HIM
