I am by nature moody and despondent. I write songs, the lyrics to which i sometimes post here. My songs (i can't seem to help this) are about things like death, old age, crucifixion, plagues, suicide, and such things. The weblog i belong to concerned with death in poetry appealed to me for this reason. In undergraduate school i was a pre-med major so i have a broad but not deep scientific background. Science is my religion if any, and i reject things like alien sightings, most forms of mysticism (but not spirituality) and the superstitious barbarism that's held the human race back for much too long. Xanga can be addictive. You can tell when its true importance is exceeded by its apparent importance. Such a time is now. Between the so-called Christians who want to take it over and the feeling of being politely ignored, it's like a slap in the face.
