CynicalPsychologist
Doc is a 61 year old widowed psychologist knocking around with the two cats who own him in a far too large house in a western suburb of Chicago. I'm not quite senile yet but I can get away with talking back to the TV and saying outrageous things without upsetting family members too much. Often they just ignore me as they should. -

I'm a 19 year-old trying to cope with my bipolar diagnosis among other things. I'm your average girl and this is just the story of my life through the lens of this label. I am a psychology/ biology double major with a chemistry minor and a passion for psychiatry, cognitive neuroscience, research, teaching and all that academia entails. I see either grad school or med school or both in my future. So, I'm definitely a nerd. In short, I'm a nut case who is hoping to study other nut cases for a living. But then again, as Orwell said in 1984, "sanity is statistical"; perhaps if we get enough of the general populous on our side, we might be sane. -

Memes are Mind Viruses. We get infected by them everyday unconciously. They are cultural viruses that dictate who our society is and will be. Awareness might help. But that is a thin might. I know, I know. Most of what i say seems like crap, and maybe it is... But if you care about man's future, maybe you'll at least consider what I have to say before you dismiss it. -

I'm a Local OC Girl trying to make her mark on the world. Hopefully, by this coming Fall I'll be starting my PHD in Clinical Psychology. Cross your fingers for me! -

I'm a psychotherapist, husband and extremely proud father of 2 amazing boys. I am an avid music collector, karaoke singer, Cubs fan, broomball player and miniature golfer. I'm married to the first (but not only, unfortunately) girl I ever kissed and this, among other things, makes me the luckiest person you don't know. If I could do anything....I'd be a writer, a rock star, a baseball player or a miniature golf course owner. Seriously.
