Sammee2BPhD
Hola... I'm Samantha, and if you're reading this you should already know me and are mildly interested in catching up with the new events in my life. That's basically what this blog is for... to relate the ups and downs of my quest for total enlightenment through a PhD in musicology (said sarcastically). I'm a huge anglophile (I have a degree from the University of Oxford, UK), lover of literature, art, music, chocolate, English tea, coffee, and exercise. I love academia and learning new things about all periods, but especially the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. I'm a recovering Evangelical and am now challenging myself to work out my own brand of Libertarian Christianity. My blog will be expressions of my walk through life, but also occasionally academic, political and philosophical discussions. -

Friendship is a promise made in the heart... unspoken, unwritten, unbroken by distance and unchanged by time. you need a heart to realize what it means to be loved n cared for,, you dont suffer when you dont have one. so accepting that will just make life so much easier... -

A day in the life of a Filipino Christian, post Rutgers University (New Brunswick); Striving to do good (with good intentions) and avoid evil on a daily basis; Trying to practice The Greatest Commandment: 34Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'[2] 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' ~ Matthew 22 -
