God has saved me through His grace and is working in my life right now. I'm married to a wonderful man. We live in Texas and have just started an exciting new life here. I get to paint portraits for a living. I get excited over weird stuff like being able to make skin look transparent in a figure painting. Things that solve all my problems: coffee, ice cream, lipstick, a good back rub, a day at the beach, doing a great drawing, cleaning my house, and of course...spending time in God's Word, and spending time with my husband. :-) -

I wouldn't be here without my Savior, Jesus Christ, and want to live my life in a way that accurately represents and glorifies Him alone, though I fail constantly. My life's verse is 'But if I say, I will not mention Him or speak anymore in His name, His word is in my heart like a fire... I am weary of holding it in, INDEED I CANNOT.' (JEREMIAH 20:9) I want to live my life keeping God's perspectives, desires and laws as far superior to my own, recognizing that I am finite and He is perfect, and it's a constant struggle to yield and surrender to His plan, so I can live a life that matters, and is lived to the full. I want my life to bring Him glory, and not me, following John 3:30- 'He must become greater and greater, I must become less and less.' I have yet to come even close to this. -
