Baking101
This is for those of you who are new at baking, do it as a hobby, or randomly feel an urge to bake something every now and then. I have useful tips, great recipes, and easy-to-follow instructions with photos (most of the time). I am in no way a professional baker-I am a home baker. I am using this blog to document and share my baking experiences with other people who are interested in baking. Most of my recipes have been taken from other sources. If I do know the source, I will cite it. I hope you enjoy viewing my blog, and you are able to learn from it and use the recipes to make wonderful and delicious creations. I have a table of contents for your convenience, and also a link to other useful baking websites. I know that personally, since I have started, I have grown as a baker and have become more practiced. I hope that you grow to love baking as much as I have if you are just getting started. Happy Baking! =) -

ChefAbility
I am a home cook. Which means I do not have any formal training in the culinary arts. I have been cooking and experimenting with food ever since I was a young teenager. I was first drawn to cooking when my Grandmother took me aside as a young child and showed me how to make her famous Lasagna. Ever since then I was hooked. I am looking to share my experience and recipes with others as well as meet other cooks and chefs to possibly exchange recipes and learn new techniques. -

I am a 45 year old cradle Catholic who loves Jesus and His Church. My life has been (and continues to be) profoundly influenced by the spirituality of St. Therese of Lisieux and her doctrine of "The Little Way". I was raised in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, to which I owe a great deal of gratitude, but have really been more of a "traditional" Catholic over the years who is now returning to the Charismatic Renewal. I am committed to true ecumenism. I have had CFIDS (chronic fatigue immune dysfunction syndrome) and fibromyalgia for nearly 29 years. I remain hopeful for a cure and/or a miracle from God. The research community worldwide has been doing a phenomenal job! My life has also been profoundly influenced by the life, words, music, and ministry of the late Rich Mullins. My life's ministry is being a "Barnabas Lady" (a daughter of encouragement) and in general trying to be a cricket on the hearth. -
