I am a native Virginian living in Georgia. The two states with the most arrogant and obnoxious home-state boosters are Texas and Virginia ... Virginians are just more gentlemanly about it. To be a Virginian, either by birth, marriage, adoption, or even on one's mother's side, is an introduction to any state in the union, a passport to any foreign country, and a benediction from the almighty God. I hope to go back home and dwell there again someday. :-) -

i love the smell of garlic cooking in butter and the sound of my children's laughter; i love to sit and watch sunsets; i love the quietness of twilight and the sound of the ocean's waves hitting the shore; i love brownies and love to put whipped cream in my coffee; i love sitting in bed late at night laughing with my husband about a funny things; i love floating on my back in the ocean staring at the sky and letting the movement of the waves gently rock me; i love the smell of carnations and the beauty of the mountains; but most of all, i love the Lord and am so thankful to be called a child of God. -
