The kindest person on the planet-or so I'm told. I like to read/study, paint/draw and create. I would rather have roses on my table than diamonds around my neck. I long for summer mornings and winter nights, the sound of rain on the roof and the chance to sit before an open fire...blessings. So many blessings.... -

Hi - I grew up on an Illinois farm and have lived in several other places across America. I enjoy border collies, Thoroughbred (and other!) horses, music, farming, writing and much more. One of the most endangered communities in America is the farming community, which most look the other way or encourage the demise of by paving over more farm land. I'm a "wonderfully approachable and huggable, with superb flowing hair" Christian mom, music teacher. I have three kids at home - one heading to the Navy this summer, one going to college, and an 11 year old gymnast and singer... and three dogs - a yellow lab, a golden retriever, and a dachshund who's a very old man. I play flute, piano, and various other instruments, and especially enjoy playing pit for musicals and for church. I am a writer, a thinker, and a lifelong student, and enjoy lively conversation and discussion, especially about God, Jesus. the Bible, and social issues. I enjoy live theatre, photography, gardening, knitting, sewing, baseball, helping my kids develop their talents, and spending time with family and friends. Create in me a new, clean heart, oh God, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it!
