"Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards in the Gospels, it would seem that Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased." -- C.S. Lewis

whether you're asian, a halfie like me, or something else--race does NOT matter. but that doesn't mean you can't be proud to be what you are! i'm proud to be a mutt ;) i am very particular and have high standards i hold myself and others to. i deeply value honesty and taking responsibility for your actions. helping others and investing in people around me is what motivates and energizes me to keep living. my real problem in life is not being able to say "no" in most situations...i pour myself out to the point of burnout b/c that is how much i value others. not trying to lift myself up as an unselfish saint, by any means! that being said, some ppl say i'm so mean--some ppl say i'm so nice--i'm learning that i can't please everyone--just striving to please God. i love to tease everyone i think can handle it! but in all seriousness, i'm still a work in progress...constantly being remodeled on.

My philosophy of life: People change, things go wrong, shit happens, but life goes on! I am a FEMINIST and very LIBERAL. I am a SUICIDE survivor and have been heavily impacted by mental illness. I do not believe in God, but I do not call myself an Atheist. I think I could be simply labeled as a disbeliever. :-) That's me! P.S. I'm incredibly awesome too.
