I am a 20ish female university student. I graduate the end of December 2008. Yay! I am intensely interested in foreign cultures. I am currently learning Chinese with Traditional writing as opposed to Simplified. I have been introduced to the basics of Pinyin, and I have become familiar with the Taiwanese phonics characters and sounds. However, I still have a LOOONG way to go before I'm proficient. My goal for the next few years is to continue my Chinese studies in Taiwan for two years. Then move to Korea for a year or two in order to improve my Korean speaking. After I have become fairly proficient in both languages, I will find a job in my fields of Digital Media and International&Intercultural Studies. *yay* I also want to continue my study of the Japanese language. Currently I am planning to be in Asia for the next 10 years. (Approx. Aug. 2009, until December 2019.) God Bless!
