modern revolt-lives of Australian Asians
It seems that the personae that weve somehow developed as an ethnic group has made (some of ) us think within the square-(to cliche.) I've started this ring not only for those whom have a desperate yearning to break through this boxed-personae that weve been squeezed into, but also for those who have any sort of desire to take the action of defiance against stereo types and society's cookie moulds. Can you or have you ever seen that glass ceiling?

However, my saving grace has been to consume myself with influential and inspirational teaching texts, which speak of great things and evidently urge me to persist with this new-fangled career. From Carol Ann Tomlinson & Kristina Doubet's book 'Smart in the Middle Grades': "Self-esteem stems from the belief that we are worthwhile in the eyes of others. Self-efficacy means we know we can do important things..." -
