Well I'm a mother, seamstress, web designer/developer, graphic artist and a writer. I've got a 15yr old son, 2.5yr old daughter, 1yr old son, 5.5yr old step-son, 3yr old male cat, and a hunting fishing redneck of a husband. I spend any time not dedicated to my family working at either my sewing machine or my computer. I've had a pretty diverse education, complete with several degrees and cirtifications in varying areas - none of which I currently employ. I'm crunchy green, spiritual and as non-toxic as possible. I dont much care for mainstream anything and couldnt go with the flow if I were drowning in a river (ie; I do crazy things like recycle, cloth diaper, breastfeed, and dont vaccinate). I love to read a wide variety of authors and subjects (from religion to car care), but at the moment all I have time to do is keep up with my two favorite comic books: Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. I wish I knew more people that shared some of my interests.

LIKES: shopping alone, legwarmers, tights, mini-dresses, black, Peanut M&Ms, white noise when sleeping, fake reading glasses, & vests... DISLIKES: "mom" jeans, long skirts, denim tuxedos, fashion mistakes on good people or in general, cinnamon gum, & Tyra Banks...

My name is Shawna Tarpy I am a Mother, Daughter, Sister, Student, Godmother, and Friend! It seems like my life is always on the go and I am always busy! I have a 6 year old little boy and a 5 Year old little girl! I am here on Xanga to make new friends. I am a mother to 2 speacil needs children as well.
