Some people learn by reading, Some by watching others, and Some of us just have to piss on the electric fence for ourselves -

I love to sing. I've always wanted to be a singer but never thought I had any talent. I now know I can sing - maybe not a great singer, but I can hold my own on a tune pretty well. I have taken up karaoke as a hobby and have recently been trying to learn new songs - songs that were recorded AFTER 1980. Most of my repertoire had been songs from the 60s and 70s. -

I am retired, married, mother of two and grandmother of 3. I am full time caregiver to my husband who is a disabled Nam Vet. We spend a lot of time at the ocean and driving through the woods of the Pacific Northwest. I am active in 12 step programs, AA, NA, and OA. I am an avid digital photographer and find the beauty of the world through my camera lens. I identify with the elements of fog and water and love to walk along the river on foggy nights and mornings. -

Check out a few posts before subscribing. It IS usually funny, to me, at least- whether intentionally or not. Note: some posts are rated EX- you must be age verified to see them. -

I'm pretty easy going, and find humour in pretty much everything. What can I say? I'm easily amused. -

I'm a married SAHM who homeschools her 3 youngest kids. I love country music, crafting and cooking...which makes me a chubby middle aged woman who wears hand-crafted jewelry and sings along with her iPod. I'm addicted to Twitter and Facebook and I just love reading blogs, especially The Pioneer Woman. In my spare time I dream of doing stand up in a comedy club and if I ever take the plunge on an open mike night watch out cuz you know there will be no stopping me, but until then I write this blog...because I can! I've been a blogger here at Xanga since 2003. -
