The example of the person in this duniya, is like people who are on a ship, stopping at a nice island. The captain of the ship, tells the people, go to the island, look around and enjoy yourself, but don't become too enthralled with the island. A person will be in either of 3 groups. One group of people goes to the island, looks around, is impressed, but goes back to the ship right away, and their travel was easy. A second group, spent a little more time on the island, barely making it onto the boat because they brought back many things from the island. Because they brought back so many things to the boat, their travel was harder because of the extra baggage rocking the boat. The third group of people, will look at the island and love it so much that they will stay there and the boat will leave. Eventually, the island will be destroyed by typhoons and hurricanes and they will be left with nothing. ~ Imam Al Ghazali (RA) (transliterated by Imam Suhaib Webb)

[revert salafiyya] :: It's exhilarating.. really. The thrill, the chance that maybe someone will read something you said.. something that could make a difference.. some sort of impact. It's the thrill of some random stranger coming across your extremely personal thoughts, ones that are real to you and only you cuz everything else on here is just cyber crap. Yeah.. that's what it is. It's cyber crap. It's dangerous, it's risky, it's personal.. it's an opportunity for others to view your life in its rawest form.. it's a one in a million chance that your words could just possibly mean SOMETHING to someone who's never even met you before. A footprint in the log or a random comment here or there, maybe an encouraging or resentful message.. it's significant.. sometimes, or so I'd like to think. But hey.. like I said.. in the end it's still just cyber crap. YOUR LIFE -a lie for all I know- is just cyber crap. We're all just cyber crap. :: [define me]

my writing is a few consoling whispers in the darkness... when the rest of the world is asleep, and i only feel like chatting with the inanimate stars.

***“Right graciously did her Lord accept her, He made her grow in purity and in beauty” (Quran 3: 37). Describing Maryam, a character which I aspire to be MashaAllah. ***"Surely my daughter Fatima is: The Mistress of all women from the beginning to the end. She is part of me, and the light of my eyes, She is the f lower of my heart, and is my soul, (Fatima) is a human huri, who whenever she stands in prayers in the presence of Her Lord (Exalted is His Name), her light illuminates the skies for the angels, like stars shine to people on Earth." (The Prophet sallalahu alaihi wa’alihi wassalam) ***And We inspired the soul with knowledge of evil and piety. Those who purify their souls will certainly have ever lasting happiness and those who corrupt their soul will certainly be deprived of happiness. (Surah ash-Shams, 91:8-10)
