"Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy." Psalm 33:3 I believe that through our own apathetic musical efforts, the modern church has brought staleness to the Holy attributes of God and His sacred truth. What must be done in order for change? ..." -Sam Jones "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hyms and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God." -Colossians 3:16

i have a hard time remembering the things i should remember, and a hard time forgetting the things i should forget. oh christ, when you're ready to come back i think i'm ready for you to come back, but if you want to stay wherever exactly it is you are, that's okay too - it's really none of my business. if i didn't have you as my guide i'd still be wandering lost in sinai or down by the tracks watching trains go by to remind me: there are places that aren't here. i had a well but all the water left so i'll ask your forgiveness with every breath, And if there was no way into God, I would never have laid in this grave of a body for so long, dear. -

Hey, this is Kelly and I am mum to Judith who was born November 2005, Gideon who was born April 2008, and #3 is due in December. David and I were married in August 2003. I mostly talk about my kids and my adventures as a somewhat hippie stay-at-home-mom, but may also include my crafting endeavours, recipes, cloth diaper infatuation, natural living stuff and spiritual journey. I am into attachment parenting, natural birthing, organic food, thrift shopping, tattoos, dreadlocks, justice issues and anything 'crunchy'. I am Canadian, but recently lived in Australia. Above all my life's mandate is to love God and love others, spread joy and demonstrate the grace Jesus freely gives. -

If joy was a color it would be purple pastel pretty like old women and young children both wear on Easter, smiling while having deviled eggs and drinking koolaid, chasing blown bubbles in the backyard. The young ones distracting hats fly off and the old ones laugh a contagious laughter that is to be shared by everyone there. The sun shines down upon them as all of their physical imperfections gleam beautifully… and inside… inside here I feel like this. And I look outside my window and imagine the future purple pastel pretty moments of joy that I will one day have with my wife and my children, my friends and my family. I really look forward to those moments but I am thankful for the one I am having right now, this morning, alone, on my couch, overwhelmed by joy. -

There really isn't much to say. I am on a multilevel journey of self discovery. Spiritual, personal, future, and present all rolled into one with many the many holes of what I forget and when I am wrong. -

joy in the heart doesn't mean peace with God because the world brings joy but it's that that deceives masses of people who forsake whats important because they think all they see is all that they need... some people get angry but it makes me sad to see the declination of life, what's in bondage should be free Christ is misrepresented but I hold the evidence in my heart is His peace which surpasses common sense... ---I play in a punk band called The Violence... myspace.com/violencepunx -

and as i look into your face, i see hope and not disgrace. and strength that carries you along, the rugged road you travel on. and as we go our separate ways, you can be sure that i have changed, because i've seen the way you live... -
