I'm 26, married to my beautiful wife, Alycia, and I like to sing and play the guitar. I also like to study and teach the Bible. I chose the name AmongSeven for my website because it is the name of my "band". We take it from Revelation, where it says Jesus is the one walking among the seven golden lampstands. We then discover that the seven lampstands represent the seven churches. Within these churches we see seven kinds of believers. If we believe in Christ as our Savior, and we put our faith in Him, then we innevitably will fall under one of the those seven categories at some time in our Christian walk. I pray that I would either be like Smyrna or Philidelphia, but I know that I am more often like Ephesus, or one of the other four who lose site of the eternal, and get their eyes on the temporal. But thanks be to God for the great gift of His Son, Jesus, who washes me, and is changing me to be more like him every day. -
