Tanya is a fictional character who has been captured and sent to a prison camp in a foreign land. The story is written from Tanya's perspective as she journals her thoughts and experiences out on small scraps of parchment. I got the idea of writing for Tanya after seeing the movie 'Rescue Dawn'. Right now I have no high hopes or aspirations for Tanya's story, indeed writing the tale of Tanya has just been a chance for me to relax and enjoy something that I love; creating fictional tales, writing without worrying about critiquing or cleverly creating a brilliant storyline. Never the less I hope that all who venture upon this simple tale enjoy what they read. I ask that, if you go so far as to follow the story, you respect my rights as creator of Tanya and do not steal or copy any of my writing or the ideas that lie behind them. Thank You. -- The Author -
